Well, the top Twitterer was the actor @kumailn! Joining in popular online topics such as this is a great way to drive customers towards your brand, however only as long as it is done well. Their &#8220;Lunchtime Is Coming&#8221; &#8211; advert was <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/news\/game-of-thrones-hodor-kfc-advert-kristian-nairn-hold-the-door-a7822081.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the UK &#8220;Ricebox&#8221; product launch. This advert is a great example of a way to join a conversation around a popular show, particularly for a product launch which is a great time to really focus your marketing strategy. Their new product was obvious and the ad could be understood and enjoyed by those who hadn&#8217;t watched the famous scene, however it was a great way to give a nod at those who would. Consequently the ad went viral, the YouTube version currently with 1,675,284 views, as well as appearing in more traditional ad formats also.
