The Consumer Electronics Show is one of the biggest tech-shows of the year and takes over a week in the one and only Las Vegas, Nevada, connecting celebrities, bloggers and VIP social media techies. This year it was full of jaw-dropping innovations. People from all over the globe flocked to the CES 2014. It reportedly attracted more than 150,000 attendees and more than 3,000 exhibitors.

From workshops, events, awards and keynote speakers, CES 2014 had it all. Speakers included CEO, President and Director of Yahoo, Marissa Mayers. President and CEO of Sony, Kazuo Hirai. Chairman and CEO of Cisco, John Chambers and many other influential figures in the technology world.
Mayers spoke about how Yahoo is growing, catching up to its competitors, innovating and incorporating social media into its new products and services. They even launched new service Yahoo Tech right on the CES stage.
Products that link to social media in an intuitive way from wearable smart devices, televisions, once dumb-now-smart home devices and phones were showcased at the event. Below is a list of some of the hottest and trendiest devices 2014 had to offer.

Some of the ones that took the show by storm were the the stylish smartwatch Pepple Steel, Razer Nabu to LG Lifeband Touch to the Sony Core, showing that convenience and choice is an important aspect of athletic tech today. These devices connect you to your social media channels where you can share and compare with others.
4. Smartphone: Sony Z1 Compact
One of Sony’s best phone’s yet sits well in the competition with the big dogs out there. Z1 Compact’s 4.3-inch handset doesn’t compromise on design and features even with its small size. Bridging the gap in flagship devices between the iPhone and the herd of 5-inch Android phones.

Samsung and LG both showed off huge 4K OLED TVs that actually bend and unbend with the press of a button, Samsung promised to start selling these this year, which surprised many.
